Exactly just like a Hydra's heads, new sites appeared out of nowhere right after Animetake got shut down. Most important is for sure AnimuTank! Site calling itself "Spiritual successor" to Animetake. But this is just the beginning...
Sooo... what actually happened? Thousands of Animetake users found themselves in difficult situation. Suddenly they had nowhere to go. Web developers, admins, html experts among them without favourite stuff... Obviously we all mourned our best anime site, but its collapse created one of a kind chance to appear in the society. Those ambitious and skilled took a chance and created their own websites serving the same purpose as golden animetake. Idea was the same, but often enriched by some very creative ideas that old animetake would also benefit from. Well... none of new sites is currently as big as take.com was, but it's not necessarily bad thing. Now they are competing with each other and getting better and better each day. So yeah, there was time to cry and now is time to celebrate.
